In 2008, Tennessee-based home service company American Residential Services LLC, purchased Goettl Air Conditioning, an Arizona HVAC installation and service company to add to its list of acquisitions it had made in its time. While ARS had bought the company out, it has not changed the structure or brand of Goettl, and even retained their current employees. Its Tempe AZ branch continued to do business as usual, but ARS made plans to improve Goettl’s service as well. In 2007, Goettl had to drop the manufacturing of its proprietary AC equipment because of other companies selling theirs at a lower cost from outsourcing. But ARS considered bringinging back that part of Goettl’s company.
Goettl has been in business in Arizona since 1939, when it was founded by Goettl brothers Gust and Adam. The company has stayed in the family ever since, and is headquartered in Tempe, but has service centers in both Phoenix and Tucson. Goettl offers a full range of air conditioning and heating services to both residential and commercial customers. Goettl’s products are energy efficient and comply with all standards set forth by the EPA, and other environmental authorities.
Goettl’s servicemen are highly trained professionals who know how to pick the right size HVAC unit for the best building performance. The options they offer for AC units include standard central air, packaged AC, ductless mini splits, dual fuel, and aqua chill. Goettl’s team members do comprehensive measurements to make sure the unit’s ducts and air exchange system is compatible with the building.
Goettl can also repair or replace old AC units. Their servicemen are on call 24/7 and can take a look at damaged units even at odd hours, and repair them if possible. But when it comes time to replace old AC units, Goettl’s servicemen can get that done quickly and smoothly without damaging a building’s current structure. Goettl has become a widely recognized company and commended for its customer service with the 2014 Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce IMPACT Award.
